The Katie dress is a divine coquette, a hat tip to 17th century aprons made from fine fabrics, like organza, silk, moiré - and now, raw Japanese Muslin- worn daily to elevate the mundane tedium of the domestic sphere. 

Gathered elastic at back of waist, flat front waistband. Tie waist at back, and adjustable shoulder strap with mother of pearl button detailing that can be worn straight or criss-crossed. Pulls over the head.
